What are wolf statics?
These are factors that will ultimately effect your role-playing.
For example a hungry wolf will most likey be emaciated and weak. There ribs will show and their body will lack it's normal strength, so a wolf in this condition will have a harder time defending itself and hunting, The vitamins that once held this wolf a beautiful coat are depleted and it's coat will look dull , ragged, and brittle. Calcium can be consumed from knawing on antlers or bones. It also comes from certain food or organs.
A thirsty wolf may quickly get dehydrated and/or suffer from heat stroke and other heat related illnesses if left in the heat. Even shade cannot cool a wolf down much in 100°F below or above. It's best to lay in a shallow dirt, sand, or mud pit which can be dig out by even a young wolf. Dehydrated wolves cannot survive as long as a hungry wolf who has fat preserves for hard times. Beware of water that is very slow moving or motionless, these bodies of water may carry harmful bacteria and diseases which can quickly kill a wolf or give it harmful effects.
Signs of dehydration include: thick saliva, foaming of the mouth, licking chomps constantly, dark urine, dry mouth, the wolf is very thirsty and will want water, etc. Dehydrated and thirsty wolves will get tired quicker and should always be on the look out for fresh clean water or prey. Prey will help a little but not as much as drinking water itself.
Unhealthy wolves are at risk for diseases, sickness, and other difficulties. These wolves are more likely to gain infections from wounds and cuts.
Now lets talk bars.
0% means that your wolf may well be dehydrated or near dehydration for thirst. For hunger your wolf has 0% food and probably hasn't eatten in a month. In 5 to 14 days your wolf may collapse from hunger and die a few hours later. At this stage your wolf will be emaciated in 5-7 days and should get food ASAP. After collapsing without the aid of a healer your wolf will surly die even if he/she gets food their body isn't really strong enough to survive the digestion. At 0% from strength your wolf is surly weak and helpless, this never really gets low unless your wolf is sick, wounded, starving, or dehydrated.
100% woo your wolf is full of food and/or water. If your wolf has 100% strength then he/she is doing really well and is healthy. Mother and fathers should make sure they are their strongest if they wish to have offspring. Mothers, even at 100% strength can be lowered drastically if the mother gets sick after pupping.
That's it for now, I may add more later. Oh yes replace strength with health. :P
